Pomino doc is one of the most historical winemaking regions of Tuscany, and one of the first to receive protections in the 1700s.  Blend of 60% Sangiovese 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.  Fermented in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts; Sangiovese aged in large French oak casks while Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged in French oak barriques.  Earth driven aromas of dark berries, leather and tobacco.  Smooth and elegant on the palate with bright fruit.  Pomino, Tuscany, Italy
